Millfield Theatre's panto is Beauty & the Incredible Beast, 4 to 30 December 2026. Every public performance time, tickets from £14, plus 15 school shows.
Enfield’s pantomime is Beauty & the Incredible Beast at Millfield Theatre in Edmonton, running Friday 4 December to Wednesday 30 December 2026. It is a Platinum Production, it is already on sale, and tickets start at £14, all according to the theatre’s own listing.
There are 45 performances in total, but only 30 of them are open to the public. The other 15 are school performances that cannot be booked online at all. That split is the single most useful thing to know before you start looking for a weekday morning slot.

Read that table for the gaps as much as the dates. There is nothing at all on Friday 18 December, nothing on Christmas Day or Boxing Day, and nothing on New Year’s Eve. In the first fortnight the only public shows are on Friday evenings and at weekends, because the theatre is running schools in the mornings.
There are two performances on Christmas Eve, at 12pm and 4.30pm, which is unusual and tends to be the first thing that sells.
School performances
Fifteen dedicated school shows run from 4 December to 17 December, at 10am and 1pm. The theatre states that these “are not available to book online” and that bookings go through the box office or admin@millfieldtheatre.co.uk.
The dates in the booking system are 4, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17 December with two shows each, plus a single 10am performance on 11 December.
Prices, age and running time
The theatre publishes “Tickets from £14” and does not put a price table on the show page, so the band above that entry price is only visible once you pick a performance. Concessions are not guaranteed: the theatre’s FAQs say discounts “are at the discretion of the producer” and apply only where advertised.
- Age guidance: 3 and over.
- Running time: approximately 2 hours 30 minutes including an interval.
- Refunds: none, and no exchanges unless a performance is cancelled. Where an exchange is possible at all there is a £2.50 fee.
- Restricted view: the theatre flags Row K as slightly restricted for anyone under 4ft 8in.
Access: book by phone, not online
Millfield is a small theatre and is honest about what that means. Its access page states there are no hand rails in the auditorium and no lift access.
Wheelchair spaces and easy-access rows are deliberately not sold online, to keep them for the people who need them. To book those, or an essential companion ticket, call the box office on 020 8807 6680. Companion tickets need proof of eligibility, specifically an Access Card carrying the +1 symbol.
Assisted hearing necklaces are available at reception for every performance and work with hearing aids on the T setting. Tell the box office when you book and arrive about 15 minutes early so staff can check the equipment.
Getting there and parking
Millfield Theatre is at Silver Street, Edmonton, London N18 1PJ.
- Train: Silver Street station, then a 15 minute walk, or buses 34, 102 and 144 from opposite the station.
- Buses to the stop by the theatre: 34, 102, W6 and 144.
- Buses to the Great Cambridge roundabout stop: 217 and 231.
- Tube: Turnpike Lane then the 144, 217 or 231; Wood Green then the 144; Arnos Grove then the 34; Bounds Green then the 102.
There are two car parks on site, one at the theatre and one at Millfield House, with two and three blue badge bays respectively. Street parking is available nearby, on Windmill Road among others. Bike racks are by the front entrance. Wider borough parking rules are on our parking page, and roadworks between you and Silver Street are on our roadworks and travel page.
The bar and kitchen opens an hour before every performance and during the interval. The box office itself is at Millfield House Library, Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm, and closed on Sundays unless there is a performance.
The other Christmas show in the borough
Chickenshed in Southgate runs its own large-scale Christmas production, 12 Days, from 18 November to 9 January, with integrated British Sign Language in every performance. It is a different proposition to a traditional panto and it starts a fortnight earlier. Details are on our Chickenshed Christmas show page.
Still to be confirmed
Millfield has not published a cast list, a full price table, or any relaxed, captioned or signed performances for this production. If those appear we will add them here.
